The molecular formula Du is Cu2 (OH) 3CL and the relative molecular weight is 213.57. It is a dark green crystalline powder, insoluble in water and organic solvents, soluble in ammonia and acid, not easy to deliquescence, weak oxidation, very stable in the air. Its aqueous solution is acidic to litmus. The pH of 0.2mol/l aqueous solution is 3.6. The relative density was 2.54. Crystal water is lost at 100 ℃.
